About the event
Fort St Angelo and the Inquisitor's Palace open their doors for a special evening during Birgu Fest on Saturday, 10th October 2026. Both Heritage Malta sites will be illuminated by candlelight for the occasion. On the day, the sites close at 4:00pm and reopen at 7:00pm, staying open until midnight, with last admission at 11:30pm.

A combined ticket for both Fort St Angelo and the Inquisitor's Palace costs €3. Heritage Malta members are admitted free on presentation of a valid membership card. Fort St Angelo stands at the heart of the Grand Harbour.
At the Inquisitor's Palace, Mary Spiteri's 1992 Eurovision dress is on display. She wore it when she represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest with "Little Child".
