JazzKlabb #12 – MaracuJazz Quartet at Teatru Salesjan

The MaracuJazz Quartet performs at JazzKlabb #12 at Teatru Salesjan on Wednesday, 21 October 2026 at 20:00. The group is a Colombian Latin jazz quartet whose music mixes jazz improvisation with cumbia, salsa, bossa nova and Colombian folklore, played by four musicians. The lineup is Jonathan Lopez on clarinet and saxophone, Juan Oviedo on guitar, Peter Farrugia on drum set, and Esteban Amortegui on vibraphone and percussion.

The quartet's material also draws on the folklore of the Andes, the momentum of choro, and the intimacy of bossa nova. Cabaret tables seat up to four guests and come with complimentary light nibbles. At least one person at each table must hold a valid Teatru Salesjan membership; members get their table at half price, with the discount applied at checkout using the membership number.

Free entrance is available through high standing tables and loose seating at the back of the venue. A Cabaret Table is priced at €50.00. The minimum age for the event is 5+.
