Little Shop of Horrors at Teatru Manoel, Valletta

Little Shop of Horrors is a musical comedy with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman. Teatru Manoel and Masquerade Theatre Company present it on the Main Stage at Teatru Manoel in Valletta, from 23 October 2026 to 1 November 2026. The producer is Masquerade and the director is Anthony Bezzina.

The story follows Seymour, a shy and struggling florist working in a run-down flower shop in Skid Row. He discovers a mysterious plant he names Audrey II, which feeds on human blood and grows into a terrifying, talking creature. As Audrey II becomes more powerful and demanding, Seymour is forced into increasingly difficult moral choices.

The musical blends humour, horror, and 1960s-style rock and doo-wop music. Performances are on Friday 23 October at 8:00 pm, Saturday 24 October at 8:00 pm, Sunday 25 October at 6:00 pm, Thursday 29 October at 7:30 pm, Friday 30 October at 8:00 pm, Saturday 31 October at 8:00 pm and Sunday 1 November at 3:00 pm.
