Skerryvore play Melkweg in Amsterdam on 9 May 2027 at 19:30. The band are a Scottish Celtic rock group formed in 2000 by Daniel Gillespie and Fraser West in Tiree, Argyll and Bute, after the two began playing ceilidh music together at various functions. They take their name from the Skerryvore lighthouse, which lies 12 miles (19 km) off the coast of Tiree.

Skerryvore are now based in Glasgow, Scotland, and have released six studio albums, a compilation album and a live album. They have toured Europe, the United States, the Middle East and China.

Their earlier work drew on the music of Scotland, and later influences include rock, pop, jazz, Cajun and country. Access to the event works entirely via smartphone.
