This summer, Lisbon's Depozito gallery hosts the fourth edition of the Creative Residency of Painted Pottery, bringing together designers and illustrators with the last remaining family of local potters in Viana do Alentejo.

The exhibition presents a collection born from the collaboration between artists Carolina Celas, Célia Esteves, Claudia Lancaster, and Nicolau, alongside potters Feleciano Agostinho and Feliciano Mira Agostinho, and painters Rosa Baptista, Mariana Almeida, and Elisabete Francisco. Visitors can explore the resulting works and join conversations with the artisans and illustrators.

Organized by Passa Ao Futuro, the residency celebrates the traditional craft of painted pottery, offering a rare glimpse into a living heritage. The display at Depozito - A Vida Portuguesa is open Wednesday through Sunday, inviting guests to discover the unique fusion of contemporary design and age-old techniques.
