This stage adaptation of the beloved film brings Tom Schulman's Oscar-winning story to Lisbon. Set in a conservative Vermont boarding school in the late 1950s, a new literature teacher inspires his students with unorthodox methods, challenging the institution's rigid principles.

The production, a co-production between Tenda and Teatro da Trindade, features Diogo Infante as John Keating. The cast includes Dany Duarte, Diogo Fernandes, Diogo Mesquita, Jaime Pinto Gamboa, João Maria Cardoso, João Sá Nogueira, Nuno Represas, Rafael Leitão, Rui Pedro Silva, and Virgílio Castelo, under the direction of Hélder Gamboa.

After acclaimed runs in New York and Paris, this Portuguese staging offers a fresh take on the timeless "Carpe Diem" message. The season runs from April to December, with a brief suspension in August, making it a must-see for theatre lovers in Lisbon.
