Recital ao Ocaso VII: Sunset Organ Music in Lisbon

The seventh edition of Recital ao Ocaso presents an evening of French organ music at the Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Pena, timed to coincide with the sunset. The programme features works by DuMage, Nivers, Couperin, Franck, Boëllmann, and Lefébure-Wely, performed by organist Rui Valdemar.

After the concert, attendees can climb the church's bell tower—a space rarely open to the public—by prior registration. The event is free, with donations welcome for the tower's restoration. It's a unique opportunity to experience sacred music in a historic Lisbon church as daylight fades.
