2026 Cricket MEAC/SWAC Challenge

The MEAC/SWAC Challenge is an annual college football game that pits teams from two historic HBCU conferences—the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC)—against each other. Since its inception in 2005, this event has drawn crowds of over 30,000 and is nationally televised on ESPN.

Attendees can expect tailgating, marching bands, and a showcase of future NFL talent; nine future draft picks have played in the Challenge. The game has moved several times, settling at Center Parc Stadium on the Georgia State University campus in Atlanta in 2018, where it continues to celebrate HBCU football culture.
