Hovvdy (18 and Over with Valid Government ID) in Minneapolis

Hovvdy, pronounced "howdy", is an American indie pop duo. Charlie Martin and Will Taylor formed the band in Austin, Texas. The duo's first EP came out in 2014, followed the next year by a split with the band Loafer.

Their debut full-length album, Taster, was released in 2016 through Double Double Whammy, and a second album, Cranberry, followed in 2018. In 2019 the duo put out a split with musician Hannah Read, known as Lomelda, for which the two artists covered each other's songs; the two also went on a summer tour to promote the album. In May 2026, Hovvdy announced a new album titled Big World, set to release in August 2026.
