Steve Aoki – 30 Years of Dim Mak

Steve Aoki brings his 30 Years of Dim Mak celebration to Minneapolis, an evening built around the label Aoki founded three decades ago. Named after his childhood hero Bruce Lee, Dim Mak grew into a home for electro-house and indie-edged releases from artists such as MSTRKRFT, The Bloody Beetroots, and Bloc Party. Aoki's own catalog stretches across collaborations with Linkin Park, BTS, and Fall Out Boy, giving fans plenty of reference points before he takes the decks.

The live show is part DJ set, part performance art: Aoki is known for acrobatic crowd surfing, throwing cake into the audience, spraying champagne bottles, and riding rafts over the dance floor. The Armory hosts the night as an 18+ event with no re-entry, and a portion of every ticket goes to The Aoki Foundation's brain-health research, so the party carries a charitable angle too.
