The Time Jumpers at 3rd and Lindsley

The Time Jumpers are a Western swing band built by Nashville studio musicians who enjoyed jamming together. What began as a side project evolved into a weekly residency that outgrew its original bluegrass club and landed at 3rd & Lindsley, where the band holds court on a regular basis. The current edition brings together ten players, including steel guitarist Paul Franklin, fiddler Larry Franklin and vocalist Wendy Moten.

Expect a night of tightly arranged country and swing, with the group’s repertoire reaching into jazz and pop standards. Over the years, their weekly performances have drawn Music Row peers and touring stars, with drop-ins that have included Bonnie Raitt, Reba McEntire, Norah Jones, Robert Plant, The White Stripes and Kings of Leon. For visitors, it’s a chance to hear players whose studio credits span nearly the whole history of country music.
