Blue Monday is a weekly blues tradition at The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, built around the venue's house blues band. This edition features Kevin McKendree, George Sluppick, Steve Mackey and Yates McKendree — players whose studio credits appear on many of Music City's most familiar albums. The show is plugged-in, swapping the cafe's usual in-the-round acoustic format for a dynamic, amplified set.
The Bluebird keeps the evening intimate, with a limited number of tables available for reservation and bar and pew seats filled on a first-come basis once the room opens. It's a chance to hear seasoned Nashville players in a small, close-up listening room.
