Boise State Theatre Arts Presents Fahrenheit 451

Boise State University's Department of Theatre, Film and Creative Writing brings Ray Bradbury's classic dystopian novel to the stage. The production explores a future where books are outlawed and firemen burn any that are found, following fireman Guy Montag as he grows disillusioned with his role and ultimately commits to preserving literature. Bradbury wrote the novel during the McCarthy era, inspired by historical book burnings and his concerns about mass media's impact on reading.
