Cheekface is an American indie rock band based in Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2017, the group consists of guitarist and lead vocalist Greg Katz, bassist and backup vocalist Amanda Tannen, and drummer Mark Edwards. Their songs are characterized by Katz's talk-singing, typically short and lyrics-driven with a dry sense of humor, and explore themes of anxiety and sociopolitical unease.
The band has released five studio albums on their own label, New Professor Music. Their fans, known as Cheek Freaks, are known for their dedication and for singing along at performances.
