Chief Adjuah Strikes Back at Blue Note LA

Chief Xian aTunde Adjuah, the New Orleans-born trumpeter and sonic architect, brings his genre-defying sound to the Blue Note Los Angeles. Known for his 'Stretch Music' approach—a fusion of jazz with trap, West African percussion, and Afro-Native American styles—Adjuah has earned six Grammy nominations and two Edison Awards. He is joined by Taylor McFerrin, a fellow innovator from the R+R=NOW collective, for an evening of boundary-pushing improvisation.

Set in the intimate jazz club on Sunset Boulevard, the night offers a full bar and dinner menu, with table seating open to all ages. The atmosphere is relaxed yet electric, as Adjuah's trumpet weaves through contemporary rhythms and global influences.
