Seventeen years into a career marked by restless evolution, Citizen brings their dynamic sound to Thalia Hall. The band—vocalist Mat Kerekes, guitarist Nick Hamm, bassist Eric Hamm, Mason Mercer, and Ben Russin—has never made the same album twice, moving through emo, post-hardcore, alternative, and indie pop. Their latest record, *Halcyon Blues*, is a confident culmination of all that's come before, weaving together elements from across their catalog.
