Clue

Clue brings the board-game-turned-film whodunit to the stage. The story begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party with murder and blackmail on the menu. When their host turns up dead, everyone becomes a suspect, and Wadsworth the butler, Miss Scarlett, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count grows.

Adapted from the original Jonathan Lynn screenplay by Sandy Rustin, with additional material by Hunter Foster and Eric Price, the production keeps the farcical tone of the film. Michael Holland's original underscoring adds musical color, and the comedy leaves the audience to puzzle over who did it, where, and with what.
