Grand Rapids Ballet: The Nutcracker

Clara and her Nutcracker Prince journey from a festive holiday party through a battle with mischievous mice to the Land of Sweets, where the Sugar Plum Fairy presents dances from around the world, including the Waltz of the Flowers. Choreographed by Val Caniparoli, the production features sets by Chris Van Allsburg and Tony Award-winner Eugene Lee, with Tchaikovsky's score performed live by the Grand Rapids Symphony. The performance is a holiday tradition in Grand Rapids.
