In the Round: Patten, Cook, Loudermilk & Clanton

An intimate evening of music in the round, this show gathers four songwriters and performers — Jay Patten, Roger Cook, Mike Loudermilk and Darrell Clanton — at Nashville's The Bluebird Cafe. The close-quarters room, with its tables, bar stools and church pews, keeps every listener near the stage.

Patten, a longtime bandleader for Crystal Gayle, was the first artist to perform at the venue. Cook, a British-born songwriter who later made Nashville his home, wrote hits including 'You've Got Your Troubles' and 'Talking in Your Sleep.' The four come together for an evening built around shared songs and the club's round format.
