Nurse John: Against Medical Advice Tour

Nurse John is the stage persona of John Dela Cruz, a Filipino-Canadian comedian and social media content creator. He first gained attention by posting videos on TikTok while working as a nurse, using humor — including simulated nurse-patient situations and songs for patients — as a break from his hospital schedule.

After the pandemic, he left nursing and moved to Los Angeles to pursue stand-up comedy full time. His shows are rooted in his frontline healthcare experiences and have expanded to reflect the everyday lives of customer service workers. He has also performed in comedy showcases such as Netflix Is a Joke and Just for Laughs.
