Indie pop band Passion Pit brings their Pretty Penny Tour to Raleigh for a night of synth-driven melodies and energetic live performance. Formed in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 2007, the band is fronted by Michael Angelakos, known for his distinctive falsetto. Their debut EP Chunk of Change quickly gained campus popularity, and their 2009 album Manners featured collaborations with the PS22 chorus.
Joining them as support is Arden Jones. Passion Pit's live shows are known for their vibrant energy, with Angelakos on vocals and synthesizer, accompanied by a full band. Fans can expect a setlist spanning their discography from Manners to Kindred.
