Piff the Magic Dragon (Las Vegas)

Piff the Magic Dragon turns the traditional Las Vegas magic show on its head with a mix of stand-up comedy, sleight of hand, and full-scale production numbers. The dragon-suited stage persona of British magician John van der Put, Piff delivers deadpan, self-deprecating humour alongside jaw-dropping tricks. The show at The Flamingo features showgirl Jade Simone and Mr Piffles II, a chihuahua in a dragon costume, and is pitched at families, couples, comedy fans, and everyone in between.

Piff first gained wider attention on America's Got Talent and Penn & Teller: Fool Us, after van der Put spent years doing close-up magic in restaurants and at corporate events. The dragon persona came about by happenstance when he wore a dragon costume to a party; it has since evolved into a full-scale Las Vegas production. Expect a playful, cabaret-style evening where comedy and conjuring share the spotlight.
