Skillet, the American Christian rock band formed in Memphis in 1996, bring their hard-hitting, melodic rock to Boise. Fronted by John Cooper and Korey Cooper, with Jen Ledger on drums and vocals and Seth Morrison on lead guitar, the band has built a following through a relentless touring schedule and a string of rock radio hits including "Monster," "Hero," and "Feel Invincible." Their catalogue spans grunge, industrial alternative rock, and electronic textures, giving live shows a broad, energetic range.
Fans can expect a set drawn from more than a dozen studio albums, including the Grammy-nominated "Collide" and "Comatose," with anthemic choruses and heavy guitars filling the room. The band's history as a worship side project that grew into a mainstream rock outfit adds depth to the experience, making this a show for both longtime listeners and newcomers curious about one of modern Christian rock's defining acts.
