Steel Pulse, the pioneering British roots reggae band, will bring their iconic sound to Chicago. Formed in Birmingham in 1975, they were inspired by Bob Marley and the Wailers' Catch a Fire. They have won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album, the first non-Jamaican act to do so, with nine Grammy nominations.
Their live performances are known for powerful blends of reggae and social commentary, often including visual parodies of racism. Fans can expect a dynamic set that spans their classic albums like Handsworth Revolution and True Democracy. This concert is a rare opportunity to see a legendary band that has influenced reggae worldwide.
