The Montvales

The Montvales, the duo of Sally Buice and Molly Rochelson, bring their self-described 'feral outskirts of country music' to Bleecker Bell. Their harmonies, honed busking in Knoxville's Market Square, weave stories of heartbreak, gentrification, and more. With a catalog spanning DIY folk and polished Americana, they've built a dedicated following.

Their album 'Born Strangers,' produced by Mike Eli LoPinto, earned critical acclaim and led to tours with artists like James McMurtry and appearances at festivals. Recently signed to Free Dirt Records, they're rolling out new music. Expect an intimate evening of textured storytelling and telepathic musical chemistry.
