The Musical Box at Celebrity Theatre, Phoenix, 8 November 2026

The Musical Box plays Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix on 8 November 2026, 19:30. The group is a Canadian tribute band formed in Montreal, Quebec in 1993 that recreates performances by the English rock band Genesis from the 1970s. The current line-up is Denis Gagné (Peter Gabriel), François Gagnon (Steve Hackett), Sébastien Lamothe (Mike Rutherford), Ian Benhamou (Tony Banks) and Marc Laflamme (Phil Collins).

The band takes its name from a song on the Genesis album Nursery Cryme (1971). Its shows have included lights, costumes and the stage persona and dialogue of Gabriel.

In 2004 the band secured the license to re-create Genesis's 1974 to 1975 tour for The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway (1974), performed in its entirety with encores, and that stage show used the 1,200 projection slides from the original tour. Since 2001 the band has performed sold-out shows in Canada, the United States, Europe and South America.
