Tournament of Kings is a medieval-themed dinner show on the Las Vegas Strip at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino. Guests are served a three-course meal built around Cornish game hen, and diners typically eat with their hands — no utensils are provided. The action onstage centers on jousting and Capture the Flag, with horses and plenty of spectacle.
The storyline follows King Arthur, who invites eight European kings to a sporting contest in honor of his son Christopher. When the villain Mordred arrives and kills Arthur, Christopher takes him on in a battle heavy with pyrotechnics. Cast members encourage the audience to cheer and take part, making it a lively, family-oriented evening.
Originally staged as King Arthur's Tournament, the show was later reimagined with a new script, upgraded costumes, and a modernized set before reopening as Tournament of Kings. It has been a fixture on the Strip for decades.
