Victor Goines Quartet at Snug Harbor

Victor Goines, a New Orleans native and acclaimed jazz saxophonist, clarinetist, composer, and educator, brings his quartet to the intimate Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro on Frenchmen Street. Goines, who began on clarinet at age eight and added saxophone in high school, has been a key member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and Wynton Marsalis Septet since 1993, contributing to the Pulitzer Prize–winning Blood on the Fields and collaborating with icons like Ray Charles, Dizzy Gillespie, Stevie Wonder, and Bob Dylan. This performance features Goines on saxophone, with two shows in the evening.
