Water for Elephants: Touring Musical in San Diego

Water for Elephants is a sweeping musical adaptation of Sara Gruen's best-selling novel, featuring a score by PigPen Theatre Co. and a book by Rick Elice. The production earned seven Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical, and was praised for its visual spectacle and production values.

Set during the Great Depression, the story follows Jacob Jankowski, a veterinary student who hops a train and joins the Benzini Brothers Circus.
