Yaelokre plays Howard Theatre in Washington, D.C. on 18 November 2026 at 20:00, with Ben Caplan also on the bill. Yaelokre is the project of the Filipino-Icelandic artist Keath Ósk (they/it), who combines folk songwriting, detailed artwork and storytelling.

The songs are set in the fictional world of Meadowlark and follow four masked children who form a musical ensemble called The Lark. The Lark perform as representatives of The Harkers, mythical beings who express the principles of nature, wonder and chaos. Yaelokre voices all of the characters in this universe.

The story is largely inspired by the artist's own life, and the four Larks represent different stages of their childhood. Yaelokre began releasing music in early 2024.

The song "Harpy Hare" went viral on TikTok in July of that year. At live shows the artist frequently performs in character, wearing animal-themed masks and Renaissance-esque outfits.
