The single "595" from the album was selected as Hype-Index's "Hottest Record". Grohl's first professional appearance as a musician came in 2018, when she was 12 years old, performing a rendition of Adele's "When We Were Young" with her father at a benefit concert at the Fox Oakland Theatre in support of the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. She went on to perform Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box" with Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear at the Hollywood Palladium during a 2020 charity event for The Art of Elysium, and also performed vocals in sets with Beck and St. Vincent.

In 2021 she and her father released a cover of X's "Nausea", and she appeared on The Hanukkah Sessions covering Amy Winehouse's "Take the Box". She contributed backing vocals to Foo Fighters's single "Making a Fire". In 2022 she took part in tribute shows to Taylor Hawkins in Wembley, England and Inglewood, California, opening the Inglewood concert with a cover of "Hallelujah" and singing Jeff Buckley's "Last Goodbye" and "Grace" as well as the Zutons's "Valerie" at Wembley.

In 2023 she was featured on the Foo Fighters's single "Show Me How" and appeared with the band at the 2023 Glastonbury Festival. During her childhood Grohl was influenced by the 1990s grunge wave that her parents had a role in, and she used the Breeders album Last Splash (1993) as a reference point when working on Be Sweet to Me with producer Justin Raisen. She has cited PJ Harvey as a musical influence, particularly her performance on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2024.
