Dark Dublin, Dracula, Bram Stoker & Other Horrors is a walking tour in Dublin that meets at the Tree of Gold sculpture, Central Plaza, on 23 October 2026. The tour is timed to coincide with this year's Bram Stoker Festival. It looks at Stoker's work in the context of his own time and at the Irish stories of evil spirits that influenced it. It also covers how a thousand years of foreign occupation left Dublin with a trail of fear, suffering and persecution. The walk draws on the works of Stoker's predecessors, including Charles Maturin, Joeseph Sheridan le Fanu and Oscar Wilde. Places seen and passed include Dublin Castle, Castle Forty Steps, the Old City Walls, Christ Church Cathedral, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Marsh's Library and Fishamble Street. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours, 15 minutes, and only small groups are taken. Prices are €27 for adults and €22 for seniors and students. Children aged 12-18 with an accompanying adult pay €15, and children under 12 with an accompanying adult go free.
