Fredu l-Fra – Kummiedja Teatrali

Fredu l-Fra – Kummiedja Teatrali is a theatrical comedy set in the quiet village of Ħal Ħemda. Fredu, a quiet young man, decides to become a Fra, a decision that surprises everyone. His sister Ġuża, who lived with him, does not take the news well. Days after Fredu enters the convent, Reno appears, a well-built and muscular man who immediately draws Ġuża's attention. Lucy also does not easily accept Fredu's decision, and from childhood she had looked at him differently, and now she decides to do everything to change his mind. Ġuża promises herself to do all that is possible to stop Lucy. In the convent of Ħal Ħemda the news is received with great joy. Patri Piet is already dreaming of meals of a Michelin level, while Patri Pupul rejoices at the news that Patri Ġilormu is arriving. Patri Gwardjan, with wisdom and patience, tries to keep order in the convent. The comedy features Jonathan Bonello, Soraya Chetcuti, Anthony Ellul, Pawlu Bonello, Tonio Vella, Daniel Borg Carbot, Ray Abdilla and Kim Ancilleri. The writing is by Sam Delceppo, and the direction is by Soraya Chetcuti. The performances are on 31 October at 7:00pm and 1 November at 3.00pm, at the theatre of the Junior Collage, l-Imsida.
