Acerca de Angel City FC
The club plays its home matches at BMO Stadium in Exposition Park near downtown Los Angeles, a venue with a capacity of roughly 22,000. Angel City's best season on the field to date came in 2023, when the team made the NWSL playoffs before losing in the first round.
In July 2024, Disney chief executive Bob Iger and his wife Willow Bay became majority shareholders in the club, a deal that valued Angel City at around $250 million and made it, at the time, the most valuable women's sports team in the world. The club has positioned itself as much as a cultural and business venture as a sporting one, drawing on its ownership group's entertainment industry ties to build its profile in the Los Angeles market.
