Beck
Beck, born Bek David Campbell on July 8, 1970, in Los Angeles, is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who emerged in the early 1990s with an experimental, lo-fi style. His breakthrough single, "Loser" (1993), reached No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and established his reputation for genre-blending musical collages.

Acerca de Beck
Across 15 studio albums, Beck has moved between folk, funk, soul, hip hop, electronica, country, and psychedelia, often within a single record. Mellow Gold (1994) and the double-platinum Odelay (1996) built his early career, while Sea Change (2002) and Morning Phase (2014) showcased a more stripped-down, melancholic songwriting style; Morning Phase won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2015, and Odelay won Best Alternative Music Album.
He has collaborated with artists including composer Philip Glass and Paul McCartney, and released Song Reader (2012), an album issued only as sheet music with no official recording. Beck was nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2022 and continues to record and tour.
