Blue October
Blue October is an American alternative rock band formed in Houston, Texas, in 1995, led by singer-songwriter Justin Furstenfeld. The group built a following through independent releases before signing with Universal Records, and its lineup has centered on Furstenfeld alongside other founding and longtime members over multiple studio albums.

Acerca de Blue October
The band's biggest commercial success came with "Hate Me," a single from the 2006 album Foiled that reached number two on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart and was certified platinum in the United States. Blue October has continued to release albums and tour in the years since, with songwriting that frequently draws on Furstenfeld's personal struggles with addiction and mental health.
