Acerca de Cleveland Browns
The Browns dominated the All-America Football Conference, compiling a 47-4-3 record and winning all four league championships, including a perfect 15-0 season in 1948. After that league folded, the team joined the NFL in 1950 and won the league title in its first season, adding further championships in 1954, 1955 and 1964, and reaching its league championship game in each of its first ten seasons.
Later eras included the Kardiac Kids teams of the early 1980s led by quarterback Brian Sipe, and a run of three AFC Championship Game appearances under Bernie Kosar later that decade. In 1995 owner Art Modell relocated the organization to Baltimore, where it became the Ravens, but Cleveland retained the Browns name, colors and history; the franchise was suspended for three seasons before returning to the field in 1999 through an expansion draft that preserved its continuity.
Since 1999 the Browns have recorded only a handful of winning seasons, with playoff appearances in 2002, 2020 and 2023. Jimmy and Dee Haslam have owned the team since 2012, and pass-rusher Myles Garrett, a multiple-time Pro Bowl selection, has anchored the defense in the current era alongside a roster that includes quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
