Emery
Emery is an American post-hardcore band formed in Rock Hill, South Carolina, in 2001. Founding members Toby Morrell (vocals, guitar), Devin Shelton (drums), Matt Carter (guitar, keyboards) and Joel Green (bass) later relocated the band to Seattle for its music scene. Morrell, Shelton and Carter remain in the current lineup alongside Josh Head, Dave Powell and Chris Keene.

Acerca de Emery
The band signed to Tooth & Nail Records in 2002 and released its debut album, The Weak's End, in 2004, followed by The Question (2005), I'm Only a Man (2007) and ...In Shallow Seas We Sail (2009). Singles "Walls" (2004) and "Studying Politics" (2005) remain among its best-known songs. Emery's sound draws on melodic hardcore, emo, hard rock and alternative rock.
In 2013 the band established its own label, BadChristian Music, through which it released We Do What We Want (2011), You Were Never Alone (2015), Eve (2018) and Rub Some Dirt on It (2022). Members of Emery are Christian, though the band has not marketed itself exclusively as Christian music. As of 2025 the group has released nine studio albums across multiple labels.
