Giuseppe Ninno
Giuseppe Ninno, known by the stage name Mandrake, is an Italian comedian and content creator born in 1984 in Brindisi, in the Salento region of Puglia. He built a large following on TikTok and Instagram with short comic sketches portraying exaggerated archetypes of a southern Italian family, playing multiple characters himself with the help of digital filters. He took the nickname Mandrake from the character played by Gigi Proietti in the film Febbre da cavallo, given to him by colleagues during an earlier career as a betting-shop broker in Rome.

Acerca de Giuseppe Ninno
In 2021 Ninno left his day job to work on his comedy full-time, a move that coincided with his following growing into the millions and made him one of Italy's most-watched comic creators. He has since brought his Salento-family characters to the stage with the touring show Imbarazziamoci, performing cabaret-style live dates around Italy, and has appeared in film and television projects built around the same comic persona, extending a social-media act into a conventional live-performance career.
