Acerca de Minnesota Wild
The Wild finished last in their division in each of their first two seasons before making their first playoff appearance in 2002–03, led by right wing Marian Gaborik, and advancing unexpectedly to the Western Conference Finals, where they were swept by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. The team won its first Northwest Division title following the 2007–08 season.
Owned by founder Robert Naegele and playing home games at the Xcel Energy Center, the Wild have been regular playoff participants in most seasons since the mid-2000s but had not advanced past the second round of the playoffs as of the early 2020s.
The team continues to play out of the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul as part of the NHL's Central Division.
