Acerca de Party Cannon

The band self-released a promo CD in 2012 before issuing its debut EP, Partied in Half, on Autopsy Records; the EP was later reissued with bonus tracks by the US label Gore House Productions. Their first full-length album, Bong Hit Hospitalisation, followed in 2015, the same year the band played its first US show at the San Francisco Bay Area Deathfest.

The band's sound draws on early-2000s death metal in the vein of Dying Fetus and Carcass, paired with deliberately lighthearted branding; a 2015 viral moment centered on its logo, widely noted for being unusually cheerful for the genre. Later albums include Volumes of Vomit (2022) — named one of Metal Hammer's ten best death metal albums of that year — and Injuries Are Inevitable (2024), released after the band signed to Unique Leader Records in February 2024.

Song titles frequently reference video games and pop culture, from Pokémon to Street Fighter II, reflecting the band's comedic approach within a typically grim genre. In 2026 the group released an EP on a Nintendo 64 Game Pak cartridge.
