St. Paul and the Broken Bones
St. Paul and the Broken Bones are an eight-piece soul band from Birmingham, Alabama, formed in 2012 around vocalist Paul Janeway and bassist Jesse Phillips, who had previously played together in the group The Secret Dangers. The full lineup also includes guitarist Browan Lollar, drummer Kevin Leon, keyboardist Al Gamble and a horn section of Allen Branstetter, Amari Ansari and Chad Fisher.

Acerca de St. Paul and the Broken Bones
Their 2014 debut album, Half the City, entered the Billboard 200 and drew praise from NPR and Rolling Stone for its southern soul sound built around Janeway's vocals. Subsequent albums pushed into new territory, including Young Sick Camellia (2018), which explored family history, and The Alien Coast (2022), which incorporated psychedelic rock and electronic elements; their most recent record is Angels in Science Fiction (2023).
The band has performed at major festivals including Coachella, Bonnaroo and Glastonbury, and has opened concerts for the Rolling Stones.
