Acerca de The Wonder Stuff

Signed to Polydor Records in 1987, the band released four studio albums through the early 1990s that all reached the UK top 20: The Eight Legged Groove Machine (1988), Hup (1989), Never Loved Elvis (1991), and Construction for the Modern Idiot (1993). Their only UK number one, "Dizzy," was a 1991 collaboration with comedian Vic Reeves, and the band notched 17 top-20 singles overall before splitting after headlining the 1994 Phoenix Festival.

Hunt pursued solo projects and hosted MTV Europe's 120 Minutes during the band's hiatus before reforming The Wonder Stuff for a London show in December 2000. The reunited band released further albums including Escape from Rubbish Island (2004) and Suspended by Stars (2006), and returned to the UK top 40 with 30 Goes Around the Sun (2016).

The band, now featuring Hunt alongside violinist Erica Nockalls and former Clash drummer Pete Howard, remains active, mixing anniversary performances of its classic albums with new material such as Better Being Lucky (2019).
