Familienkonzerte - Familienkonzert 3 - Krach mit Bach

Familienkonzerte - Familienkonzert 3 - Krach mit Bach is a family concert by the Göttinger Symphonieorchester at Freie Waldorfschule Göttingen in Göttingen on 9 May 2027, 16:00. It is for ages 6 and over. The story is set in the music room of a palace museum, where two paintings hang on the wall, one showing Georg Friedrich Händel and the other Johann Sebastian Bach.

At midnight the two step out of their frames and argue over who was the better composer. Their birthdays fall in the same year, a short time apart. The chamber orchestra and singing present the Baroque music of both composers.

The concert is held in cooperation with the Internationale Händel-Festspiele Göttingen. Tickets start at EUR 17.60, and a discount is available.
