Tarzan - das Musical in Lüneburg on 7 February 2027

Theater Liberi retells the hundred-year-old story by Edgar Rice Burroughs in a contemporary version, with original compositions, costumes, a colourful set and lighting effects that create the jungle world. The music moves through a range of genres. In the story, a young family is shipwrecked on the African coast and attacked by wild animals.

A small boy is left behind and is taken in by the ape Kala, who raises him as her own child. Tarzan finds a friend in the young ape Tee, but the leader Kerchak keeps showing him that he does not truly belong.

His search for his place grows stronger when he meets humans for the first time: Professor Porter, his daughter Jane and Olivia Clayton, who are on an expedition to explore the jungle. Tarzan and Jane grow closer, but then events take a turn and danger threatens Tarzan and his ape family.
