Ticket-Specials - Kombiticket Klassik & Jazz: Kirill Gerstein

The Ticket-Specials - Kombiticket Klassik & Jazz: Kirill Gerstein combines two concerts with pianist Kirill Gerstein. The first is the hr-Bigband concert "Rhapsody in Jazz" at the hr-Sendesaal in Frankfurt on 19 December 2026, 20:00. The same programme is also played on 18 December 2026, 20:00.

Darcy James Argue conducts, and the concert runs about 120 minutes including an interval. In the first part, Kirill Gerstein and the hr-Bigband play the rarely performed original version of Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". The second part sets modern pieces by Darcy James Argue and Chick Corea against it.

For the second concert, ticket holders choose one of two hr-Sinfonieorchester programmes. The combined ticket costs EUR 72.50, or EUR 47 reduced, and includes RMV travel. It is a limited offer with no automatic renewal.
