Leer todos los detalles
The Tollwood Winter Festival transforms Munich's Theresienwiese into a vibrant cultural hub from late November through December. This semi-annual event, running since 1991, combines a Christmas market with a diverse program of music, theatre, and art. Visitors can explore the "Markt der Ideen" (marketplace of ideas) and the "Weltsalon," a platform for social and environmental discussions featuring notable speakers.
The festival grounds host a wide range of musical styles, from rock and singer-songwriter to jazz and blues, alongside theatrical performances and visual art installations. Many cultural events offer free admission, reflecting the festival's commitment to accessibility and ecological consciousness. The gastronomy is organically certified, and over 200 stalls sell handicrafts, creating a festive atmosphere for all ages.
