Rosalie Cunningham 2026

About the event

Rosalie Cunningham is a Southend-on-Sea born singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music blends psychedelic rock, progressive rock, glam, folk and classic pop with a distinctly theatrical edge. Formerly the frontwoman of acclaimed psych-rock band Purson, Cunningham launched her solo career in 2019 and has since built a reputation for ambitious songwriting and captivating live performances across the UK and Europe. Her third solo album, To Shoot Another Day, arrived in 2024, pushing her sound further through intricate arrangements, heavy riffs, rich harmonies and flashes of jazz and cabaret.

Following extensive touring, Cunningham is now looking ahead to her fourth album, with new material forming part of her current Breaking The Fourth tour. Basharan are a three piece rock band from Southend on Sea, drawing on rock 'n' roll, grunge, blues and metal. Their songs are driven by riffs, melody and a sound built for the live stage, refined across more than 130 shows in two years.

Their debut album was recorded with Rees Broomfield at SS2 Recording, with Terrible Terry and Monolith offering the first glimpse of the record. Terrible Terry is a sharp, punky character song about the archetypal English troublemaker, while Monolith takes a darker and more atmospheric direction, showing the wider range of the album and where Basharan are heading next.
