À propos de Dweezil Zappa

Introduced to music early, he learned guitar under the guidance of Steve Vai and Eddie Van Halen and released his first single, produced by Van Halen, at age twelve. His solo albums include Havin' a Bad Day (1986), My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Mama (1988) and Confessions (1991), along with Shampoohorn (1993), recorded with his brother Ahmet.

Since 2006 Dweezil has led Zappa Plays Zappa, a touring project dedicated to performing his father's compositions with a rotating cast of guest musicians, introducing Frank Zappa's catalog to new audiences. Following his mother's death in 2015, the Zappa siblings were divided by a dispute over control of the family's musical legacy; they announced a reconciliation in 2018.
