Overview

The Australian Pink Floyd, a Pink Floyd tribute band, play Usher Hall in Edinburgh on 1 November 2026, 19:00. The band formed in 1988 in Adelaide, South Australia. Their live shows aim to recreate the look, feel and sound of Pink Floyd's later world tours, using lasers, inflatables and a large display panel. The show includes a round screen with intelligent lights arranged around its edge, and films and animations are shown on it during a concert. Inflatables include a pig used by Pink Floyd on the Division Bell Tour and Skippy, the band's own giant pink kangaroo. Paul Bonney has played drums with the band since 1998, and David Domminney Fowler has played guitar and sung since 2010. Emily Lynn and Lara Smiles sing backing vocals, as does Lorelei McBroom, while Chris Barnes sings and Ricky Howard plays bass guitar and sings. In 1996 the band performed at David Gilmour's 50th birthday party.
